Christine Quinn’s proposal to set up an inspector general of the NYPD could come back to haunt her campaign for mayor.
An endorsement meeting with a group of police unions — the Uniformed Employees Coalition — was downright hostile, according to one source, who said Quinn was hit with tough questions on the IG issue.
“She came late, left early and seemed uncomfortable the entire time,” the source said. Quinn’s staff denied she left early.
Note from Suzannah B. Troy -- an inspector general is a joke -- another lawyer of bull crap and NYPD fixing and favors for whom ever gets that cush faux job like Christine Quinn's appointee to the slush watch dog position that never got filled...oh it did by a puppet who hasn't caught any slush abuse because Christine Quinn is the biggest slush abuser and Mike Bloomberg...Mike treats tax payer money like it's his charity -- funneling money to pals, their kids, etc. as well as to council members that helped him push through an illegal third term!
Mike is too afraid of the NYPD and has too many on his payroll oops they are all officially retired but can fix and do favors like they are still on the force!
That is how Mike gets to break so many laws including using heliports illegally!
